Is The Air Force Life Worth It?
Debating if i should take the military route or the civilian route to become a pilot for the airlines, I am almost done with my private pilot licence and graduating high school in about 4 months, if I were to joining the AF i would choose ATC or some technical job
I just don’t know which way is better, civilian or military?

Good question. For starters .. look at the officer’s salary schedule online and the benefits. Also retirement … if you can take moving the Air Force life can be good.
Right now – with the uncertainty out there I would look hard at the military. We will always have it.
I worked for 41 years including 4 in the Air Force. I have no regrets. But I worked long and hard to get a mediocre retirement. It can be better.
The life in the Air Force is rewarding, but you have a commitment of 4 years i believe so if thats too long, than just become a pilot now
